John “Jake”
Schoone, President
Jake
started John J. Schoone Construction in 1965.
Born and raised in the Tomahawk area, Jake has been
instrumental in developing several subdivisions.
He has constructed numerous commercial buildings and
residential homes in and around Tomahawk.
Jake oversees all residential field operation, as well
as the bidding and selling of homes.
Sales of Wausau Homes by Schoone Construction have
consistently ranked among the top 10 in the Midwest region. |

Jackie J. Schoone,
Vice-President
Jackie has
been with Schoone Construction from the onset.
Vital to the initial start-up and continuing success of
the company, Jackie’s major focus is billing and customer
service. Jackie’s
outgoing personality and professional attitude have resulted
in countless satisfied and numerous repeat customers.
Jackie and Jake have successfully completed over 600
homes.

Greg Schoone, Director of
Field Operation
Greg
started with Schoone Construction when he was in high school.
He attended NCTC for 2 years and returned home to help
the family business. Greg
has built the excavating portion of the business from one
piece of equipment to a fleet of over 23 machines.
Greg bids, manages, and supervises all earthwork
projects. Projects
include: soil remediation, road and highway work, sewer and
water, and earthwork material supplies.
Greg is also 40 hour OSHA certified and has additional
supervisor training. |

Tracie Schoone, Excavation
Bookkeeper
Tracie has
been with Schoone Construction since February of 1994.
Her duties include the daily billing and invoicing on
the excavation branch of Schoone Construction.
Tracie also handles all of the DOT regulations for
heavy equipment, and MSHA regulations.

Jessie Dahl, Accountant
Jessie has
been with Schoone Construction since February of 1992.
She has a 2 year Associate Degree in Accounting from
NCTC. Jessie
handles the general accounting for the company including
financial statements and bookkeeping.
She is also in charge of all employee benefits along
with overseeing all the advertising for Schoone Construction. |

Mike Crass, Salesman
Mike
began his sales career with Schoone Construction in May of
1994. His
dedication and loyalty has helped Schoone Construction grow
into a progressive office. He has received numerous
awards from Wausau Homes for his outstanding sales
achievements. |
 |
Lori DeHart, Merrill Office
Lori began
her career with Schoone Construction in September 2000 as
our receptionist. In early 2006 she took over the Merrill
office and is in charge of sales for the Merrill and Antigo
areas. Along with running our Merrill office she also helps
with obtaining permits and managing the customer database.
Lori is very knowledgeable about the building process and we
welcome her into her new position with us.
